Ostuni is also known as the white city, because even from afar you can see the white houses of the city on the hill gleaming in the sun. Ostuni impresses with its winding streets and its beautiful, historic old town, in the center of which rise the cathedral and the bishop's palace.
Locorotondo, which is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Apulia, owes its name to its circular old town. The special appeal of the picturesque village is based on the cozy atmosphere of the countless narrow streets and houses decorated with flowers.
You just have to see it. Alberobello's old town consists of the trullis (stone houses with conical roofs) characteristic of the town, which have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.
Polignano a Mare
Polignano a Mare
With its flat roofs, the old town of this small town, which is known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic", is reminiscent of North African cities. The village is also known for its towering cliffs and the rock jumpers, who throw themselves up to 20 meters down there.
One of the oldest cities in the world and one of the most beautiful in Italy. An absolute insider tip and not least thanks to its UNESCO World Heritage cave settlements always worth the journey.
The beaches of Apulia are still considered an insider tip, but among connoisseurs they have long been among the most beautiful in Italy. Many modern "Lidi" (managed beach sections/beach clubs) promise relaxed days on the beach. Tip: Download the "BookYourBeach" app and reserve your loungers/umbrellas in advance.
The Spiaggia di Punta Prosciutto, located in the province of Lecce, promises a touch of the Caribbean with its gently sloping, white sandy beach and the intense turquoise-blue water. This beach is a dream and we recommend it for families with small children.
On the western coast of the province of Lecce is the Porto Selvaggio Natural Park, founded in 2006, which is ideal for hiking, snorkeling and diving. The park's stretch of coast/beach is accessible only on foot, and artifacts of prehistoric life have been found in the caves there.
Our stay at Villa Ostuni One was just an Italian dream! Not only the location on the outskirts of Ostuni and the great property with pool convinced us, but above all we were really enthusiastic about the high-quality equipment and loving design of the house.
The bedrooms are fresh, clean and cozy and the kitchen lacks nothing. The entire facility hits just the right mix of clean and comfortable.
The glamping tent is of course the absolute highlight next to the pool with sun terrace! And we could actually have sat on the roof terrace every evening to enjoy the sunsets.
The fact that you can rent a car is also very practical, which is often used in the area to explore all the beautiful small towns and to hunt one dream beach after the other.
So: Really the perfect holiday home to just relax, but also to discover Puglia.
We had a wonderful, unforgettable time in this beautiful villa and in Ostuni itself! The villa is first class in several respects and highly recommended!
The impressive structure of the buildings and the large property radiate a wonderful charm, where the relaxing effect is guaranteed 🙂 The villa offers a lot of space and has top equipment.
The property with its many different fruit trees is magnificent.
The hosts are very helpful and very friendly!
The fact that we were able to rent the spacious car was worth its weight in gold for us, as we could arrive by plane and were very flexible on site. From this ideal location we were able to admire not only Ostuni, but also many other dream places and beaches (Punta Prosciuto, Polignano al Mare, Albero bello and much more)
The hosts can not only recommend many great places but also excellent restaurants.
If you are looking for a special experience, you have come to the right place!
Villa Ostuni One.. we'll be back 🙂 Grazie per tutto!
We couldn't be happier with our choice! We enjoyed a relaxing week at Villa Ostuni One at the end of August, and we couldn't be happier with our choice!
Together with my team (11 people) we spent a week in Puglia over the last few summers and Ostuni One was undoubtedly the most relaxing, pleasant and immaculate accommodation we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
The villa is literally brand new, and apart from what the photos easily show (a fantastic pool, beautiful glamping with its own air conditioning and extensive outdoor space), we were pleasantly surprised by the details and attention that Claudio (the owner) has thought of : From the beautiful, typical tableware to the many speakers to enjoy long afternoons by the pool, as well as an outdoor sink, oven and grill.
Even with 11 people, the internet connection (via a dedicated router) worked pretty well, as did hot and cold water (which isn't a given when traveling with 11 people).
I would like to thank Claudio and Nico again for their availability during our stay, helping us in the few cases where even their meticulous attention could not save us from the need for information.
I strongly recommend Villa Ostuni One to any group of friends, families (I can very well imagine that two families with several children could make the most of this accommodation) or simply anyone who wants to spend a relaxing summer in probably the most beautiful area of Puglia, just a few minutes from Ostuni, Polignano and similar pearls.
An unprecedented experience. The villa is cared for down to the smallest detail, and a special thanks goes to Nico and Donatella.
Claudio was a friendly and attentive host.
A fantastic house!A fantastic house for 10 people with lots of space and a beautiful garden.
The host was very friendly and responded to our every need.
I would recommend everyone to take this house and spend unforgettable days with your loved ones.
